Missing out on emails from GIG?

 

An email GIG Newsletter was sent our on Wednesday 16 April. Did you receive it?

 

We know that approximately a half of CILIP members who have joined GIG do not receive our emails. This is likely to be because of your email preferences with CILIP. If this is, you then you may be missing out on important member-only information about our Group activities. We may not post this information more widely on our blog and our social media channels. 

 

We know that lots of our members have not actively “opted in” to receive GIG emails from CILIP. You need to make the choice, but this is easy. You can change and update your email preferences at the CILIP Member Email Preference Centre. Add your email address and name and select all the email newsletters you want to receive including those you already receive. Do not forget to select Government Information Group!

 

If you are a CILIP member and you have not yet joined our Group, then please do. Access the Groups Page on the CILIP web page (you need to be logged in to your member profile). There you will find a list of groups that you are part of and groups you can join in the Available Groups column on the left-hand side. Select Join Group for the group(s) you want to join. It is important to remember that you will need to opt in to receive each group’s email communications, using the procedure above.
