Webinar "From the depth of Education to the enforcement of Home Office", Thursday 27 April, 11am-12pm
We are pleased to announce our
first webinar for 2023. We have the pleasure of being joined by Karen
Thwaites-Hughes, Knowledge Management Consultant with the Home Office and
runner up for Knowledge Manager of the Year at the 2022 CILIP Knowledge &
Information Management Group Awards. Using a storytelling technique Karen will
tell you about her journey into the Knowledge Management world. Talking about
the highs and lows as well as her EUREKA! moment through her time at the
Department for Education. However, does the story end at Home Office or will it
live on?
Karen has worked in the Civil
Service for over 13 years and has been a key member of the Knowledge Management
profession for 7 years with 3 years’ experience working in Knowledge
Management. As a former teacher Karen has adapted those skills to which have
benefitted her in her role. As a dyslexic thinker Karen has the opportunity to
see the big picture and find creative ways of working within the civil service.
