Refresh of the GKIM Profession’s Skills Framework

 

The Government Knowledge and Information Management (GKIM) Leaders group have agreed a project to refresh the profession's skills framework.  The Framework has previously been hosted on the Civil Service Learning site and the current edition is now about five years old.  The refresh will explore the scope of the profession and identify skills sets that should be added to the Framework.  Data Protection, KIM Technical and Knowledge Management are three potential big omissions. A call for volunteers has been launched for this 6-8 month project. Volunteers will need to commit up to 1 hour per week on this refresh. Colleagues who are interested in this refresh project should contact their Head of GKIM Profession in the first instance.
