Get more from Government Information Group

We know that about 50% of our members don’t receive our eBulletin news emails. Are you missing out on hearing about our webinars and events, the GIG Awards, calls for information from other GIG members, and news from the Group more generally? There is action that our members can take to ensure that you are fully in touch with the Group.

In a recent CILIP new item, Get more from CILIP’s Groups and Communities, Gus McDonald provides some really helpful tips and reminders about updating email preferences for Group and Communities, receiving emails from CILIP centrally, whitelisting email addresses (info.gig@cilip.org.uk is the key email address to whitelist for GIG), and a reminder to review Spam / Junk folders. Gus also looks at joining and leaving CILIP’s special interest groups and the diversity networks (BAME and LBTQ+ networks). It is well worth a read and please do take action.

Our blog and Twitter account are great way to find out information from GIG. However these are public domain channels, and there is lots of information that we only share with our members through the dedicated CILIP eBulletin platform. Do not miss out! Please review your CILIP email preferences to ensure that you hear everything from us, and get the most from your CILIP GIG membership.
