Objective: To give an overview and update on the new www.legislation.gov.uk  website and its 10th anniversary.

In the ten years since it was launched, legislation.gov.uk has established itself as a vital national resource, providing access to as enacted and revised legislation to over 100,000 users a day. This introduction to legislation.gov.uk will help you to get the most out of the service, providing an overview of the key features, and providing some insight into the work that has been done to prepare the statute book for EU Exit, and the challenge of publishing legislation in a pandemic.

Matthew Bell joined The National Archives in 2016 as Head of Legislation Services. His team is responsible for legislation.gov.uk and the London, Edinburgh and Belfast Gazettes. Previously, he was the Legislation Manager at Thomson Reuters providing legislation content for WestlawUK and Lawtel.
