Government Information Group - Annual General Meeting and Members’ Event 2020

 Register to attend our AGM  – Wednesday 11 November 2020, 3.00 – 4.30 pm.



 

Government Information Group members are cordially invited to attend this year’s Annual General Meeting and Members’ Event. 


This event will be held online, and provides you with an opportunity to find out more about the activities of the Group over the last year. The event will also include two short presentations:

 

·       Nick Poole – Update on CILIP position and plans for the future

·       David Smith (GKIM Head of Profession)  - Update and challenges for the GKIM profession

 

Booking is essential and should be made via the CILIP Events Calendar.

 

Papers for the AGM will be available via our webpages and will be circulated to members who registered to attend the AGM.

 

Members are welcome to submit AGM Agenda Items (Motions) for the Meeting. Motions from members should be submitted to the Honorary Secretary, to arrive no later than 5:00pm on Monday 26 October 2020 secretary.gig@cilip.org.uk


The Agenda for the AGM is standard an currently includes:

 

1.       Apologies received

2.       To approve the Minutes of the previous AGM (19 July 2019).  Matters Arising.

3.       To agree the Annual Report 2019-20                      

4.       To agree the Financial Report

5.       To receive the names of the GIG Officers for 2020               

6.       To consider any motions submitted by members

7.       Date of next AGM
